At Tint of Time, we combine advanced technology with classic digital craftsmanship to bring the past to life. Many historical photographs are marked by decades of wear, scratches, and faded chemicals.

Our process begins with pioneering AI technology that helps recreate what was lost and repair the worst damage.

However, technology alone is not enough. The subsequent manual restoration work, where we fine-tune the smallest details and optimize the light and colors, ensures that every single page in our digital historical photo books delivers uncompromising image quality.

Bringing the Past Back into View

Tint of Time grew out of a fascination with historical photographs and the details they preserve.

The project builds on experience with photo restoration for both private clients and businesses, where damaged, faded and timeworn images were carefully repaired and brought back into view.

Each Tint of Time book is built around carefully selected historical photographs, restored and colorized to create digital photo collections that bring the past closer while respecting the original image.

The goal is simple: to create beautiful historical photo books for people who enjoy old photographs, visual culture and everyday life from another time.
